Family run and located at the foot of scenic Brading Downs, the friendly village pub is just across the road, a few metres further is fishing on the Yar river. We are ideally situated for both walking and cycling holidays. Our heated swimming pool (June-September) is open most days from 2 pm to Dusk. All bedrooms (Twins & Doubles) are en suite and are individually furnished. Most have air-conditioning and a fridge for personal food and drink storage. In room facilities include colour TV with video and satellite sports channels, radio/ alarm clock, tea & coffee tray and small room safe (key deposit required). A light buffet style breakfast is included in our tariff
Minimum stay for all rooms: Two nights.
Sorry no pets: Rare red squirrels come to our garden to feed.
All bedrooms and corridors are non-smoking. You may smoke in the bar and on the terrace. NB From Spring 2007 Oaklands will be totally non smoking
We do not accommodate children under 9 years of age in any of our rooms.
